What is the BILANZ wealth manager rating?

The BILANZ wealth manager rating is an annual comparison of real client portfolios held by Swiss wealth managers. Germany-based firstfive evaluates the portfolios on behalf of BILANZ and sets return against risk. For the 2025 rating, 37 wealth managers submitted 146 portfolios. The reporting period was calendar year 2024.

BILANZ awards the title “Wealth Manager of the Year” for each period. For it, firstfive scores the Sharpe ratio in three of four risk classes. Firms that take part in all four classes may discard one result, and the maximum is 100 points.
